6. TELL THE STORY

By telling the story of Citrus College, a nationally recognized College for high levels of academic expertise and achievement we can better recruit students and obtain resources to continue to improve and grow educational opportunities.  This year Citrus College was one of four community colleges that received national recognition for student success from the American Association of Community Colleges.

Citrus College boasts visual and performing arts classes that include instruction in vocal music, instrumental music, applied music, musical theatre, theatre arts, technical theatre, dance, and art and photography.  The recording arts and emerging theatre technologies programs use and instruction with cutting-edge technology and instructors.

Citrus College grants associate degrees in 64 fields of study, including 25 Associate Degrees for Transfer.  There are courses of study that prepare students for jobs in areas such as automotive technology, heath care, water technology, law enforcement and information technology.

All these achievements deserve to be touted loudly throughout the San Gabriel Valley.
